Boy, 10, held over crash death
A 10-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after the death of a man in a road crash.
A boy of nine has also been "spoken to" in connection with the death of Michael Baker, 47, who was a passenger in a recovery truck which collided with a lorry on the A20 near the Swanley interchange in Kent on Saturday.
Mr Baker had been picked up by the recovery truck as he had earlier been in a crash in his own car on the M25. Kent Police said a group of youngsters were standing on the grass bank at the side of the road of the London-bound carriageway at the time of the second incident.
As the lorry drove past, the driver saw something hit the windscreen, cab and side of the vehicle and pulled over to the side of the road. While the lorry was stationary, the recovery truck hit it.

Three out of four people applying for sickness benefits are being found fit to work or are abandoning their claims, according to Government figures.
Of the 686,500 applicants assessed for the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) between October 2008 and November 2009, 39% were judged able to work, while 37% stopped their claims before their assessments were completed.
A further 14% were put into a "work-related activity group" to prepare them for future employment.
Only 6% of ESA claimants were exempted from work-related schemes after being judged too sick or disabled to do a job.

The Court of Appeal has paved the way for terror suspects to sue for damages over legally-flawed control orders that breached human rights.
Three appeal judges rejected a Government challenge to a landmark High Court ruling allowing compensation claims in the cases of AF and AE, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
While in office, former Labour home secretary Alan Johnson agreed the orders must be "revoked" because neither man had been given sufficient disclosure of the evidence supporting the allegations of terror-related activity made against them.
Mr Justice Silber, sitting at the High Court in London in January, said the orders must not only be revoked but quashed - with retrospective effect.

Vince Cable has admitted there was a "debate" in the Cabinet about the Government's plans for a cap on immigration.
While insisting there was "no conflict" between coalition ministers, the Liberal Democrat Business Secretary said he was pressing for a light-touch regime.
Downing Street aides also moved to quash suggestions of a rift over the move to impose a limit on non-EU immigrants coming to the UK.
The issue was threatening to overshadow a major British trade delegation to India, led by Prime Minister David Cameron and featuring Mr Cable among other senior ministers.

MPs back Government Academies Bill
MPs have backed the Government's flagship Academies Bill which was rushed through Parliament in time for the start of the summer recess.
The Bill was passed by 317 votes to 225, Government majority 92, despite accusations it would lead to a "two-tier" education system and would damage comprehensive schooling.
It completed its Commons passage in an unusually short period and will allow for a radical overhaul of the school system in England.
The legislation aims to create the first of a new wave of academy schools, free from local authority control, to be in place in September.
